Teachers Sought for Summer School

Applications for Assistance League of Flintridge Summer School teachers and classroom aides will be available beginning tomorrow, Feb. 10, at all La Cañada Unified School District offices and at Assistance League of Flintridge.

Teachers must have their California teaching credential and classroom aides must be at least 19 years old or have completed at least one year of college.

Assistance League of Flintridge Summer School is scheduled for five weeks from June 26 through July 28, Monday through Friday except for the July 4 holiday. The summer school classes offer enrichment for children grades 1 through 8 in a broad range of subjects. Curriculum for elementary grades includes fine arts, science, cooking and writing. For grades 7 through 8, the classes include computers, Spanish, fine arts, recreational sports and drama.
