LCHS to give Violin Recital

Kyle Chen, a senior from La Canada High School, will present a violin senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13 in La Cañada High School Auditorium. Admission is free. The public is invited to attend.

Chen’s recital will feature selected pieces from Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Lalo, Wieniawski and Stravinsky. Chen has a natural sensibility to delight audiences with his incisive and imaginative performances. He is not only bright but also ingenious, and unique. In addition to his solo achievements, Chen is also a major player in many orchestras from local, state and national level. His college plan is to pursue a double major in science and music. He has been accepted by Harvard and Yale universities and will most likely attend Harvard this fall.

The recital is a great chance to see his hard work and determination through this performance.
