The following crime reports for La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta and Montrose were provided by the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Sunday, April 9
Residents of a house in the 500 block of Paulette Place, La Cañada reported money was stolen from their unlocked vehicle when it was parked in the street.
Friday, April 7
Person(s) kicked open and damaged two interior doors at La Cañada Methodist Church at 104 Berkshire Place, La Cañada.
Shoppers reported miscellaneous items were stolen from their locked vehicle at the Ralphs Market, 2675 Foothill Blvd, La Crescenta.
A resident of the 5500 block of Vista Canada Place, La Cañada, reported a vehicle parked in the street trunk was damaged and scratches were on the left rear quarter panel and roof.
Person(s) unknown broke a front glass door at “The Training Center” at 814 Foothill Blvd., La Cañada.
Thursday, April 6
Ryan Kim, 18, of Van Nuys and a 17-year-old boy are suspected of attempting to steal alcohol at Ralphs Market at 2675 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta after store employees attempted to stop one of the teens and a struggle ensued. The juvenile was detained on suspicion of robbery and of conspiracy. Kim left the store before deputies.
Wednesday, April 5
A resident of a house in the 5000 block of Gould Avenue, La Cañada, reported a nylon bag containing music CDs was stolen from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the street.
Residents of the 2900 block of Mary Street reported miscellaneous items were stolen from their house.
A resident of the 400 block of Paulette Place, La Cañada, reported miscellaneous items were stolen from their unlocked vehicles.
Tuesday, April 4
Craig Stover, 42, was arrested on suspicion of attempting to cash a fictitious check at Citi Bank, at 721 Foothill Blvd in La Cañada.
Residents of the 2100 block of Glenada Avenue, Montrose, reported items were stolen from their home.
Monday, April 3
Person(s) unknown spray painted graffiti at Crescenta Valley High School, La Crescenta.
Person(s) unknown spray painted graffiti on the northern wall inside the parking garage at the Crescenta Valley Water District office, at 4700 Foothill Blvd, La Crescenta.
