Resident Named to Boys & Girls Club Board

Kirsten Fossan Newquist of La Cañada has been named to the Board of Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pasadena.
Newquist is vice-president of Copia Associates, a private investment firm based in San Ramon, California. She has also been vice-president of corporate development for Ancora Capital and Management Group, San Fernando.
She received her BS degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and her MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School.
She and her husband are the parents of four children.
Newquist has also been active in the Paradise Canyon PTA, the Junior Great Books program at Paradise, is past president of St. George’s Preschool Board and is a past Board member of the La Cañada Junior Women’s Club.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Pasadena has four locations throughout Pasadena and focuses on academic after-school and summer programs for boys and girls ages 5-18. The organization also has a preschool and a music center where youth can take private music lessons.
