The Pasadena Guild of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles held its 45th Annual June Ball on Saturday, June 17 in the Crystal Ballroom of the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

Members and guests celebrated the presentation of 21 young women who, together with their families, have provided service to their communities and have supported the work of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.

Proceeds of the June Ball will support the Pasadena Guild’s current project, which includes both developmental biology and a suite in the Center for Newborn and Infant Critical Care in the new hospital building.

Over the years, the Guild has raised over $20 million in endowments in pediatric eye cancer research, pediatric surgery, adolescent medicine, bone and soft tissue tumor research and in developmental biology through the Saban Research Institute.

Pasadena Guild member Mrs. Merle H. Banta (June) represented the Board of Trustees of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles at the Ball.
