Greystone Mansion Site of Design Showcase

Judith Wilson Interior Design Group, LLC announced today that they have been selected by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) to create a showcase suite for one of Beverly Hills’ most legendary historic landmarks: the Greystone Mansion. Wilson’s finished suite will be available for public display during the Beverly Hills Garden and Design Showcase. Guests are encouraged to participate in one of the elegant tours that have been scheduled through Nov. 17 between the hours of 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The 16-acre estate dates back to 1928, when it was first occupied by the prominent Doheny Family. In 1976, the Greystone Mansion became an historical landmark and has since belonged to the City of Beverly Hills. Over the years, the mansion has served as a setting for film and television endeavors offering its lush landscapes and grandiose interiors for celebrity gatherings of all kinds.

When asked what inspires her most about this project, Wilson said, “The history, the grandness and the architecture are to be celebrated. I am delighted to have been invited to design Mrs. Doheny’s private suite. I just love the feeling of being in the mansion and with each visit; I get a better sense of the people who lived there.”
