LCF Community Center Preschool Adopts Families

The children of the La Cañada Flintridge Community Center preschool experienced the joy of giving this holiday season by adopting four families.

The preschoolers collected an array of clothing, presents and gift certificates for each of the families in need. A holiday “giving tree” was placed in the courtyard of the preschool and children were encouraged to select an ornament with a specific wish request.

Volunteers from the preschool prepared large gift baskets and delivered them on Friday, Dec. 15. Support from the preschool for the program has been tremendous resulting in numerous presents and much needed winter clothing and other “essentials.”

La Cañada Flintridge Community Center Preschool has participated in the Adopt-A-Family program for the last seven years.
