Spence-Gonzales Engagement Announced

Sally and John Spence of La Cañada Flintridge have announced the engagement of their daughter Melissa Anne Spence to Vincent Michael Gonzales.

The bride-to-be attended La Cañada Elementary School, Palm Crest Elementary School, La Cañada 7/8, and graduated from La Cañada High School in 1998. She graduated from Occidental College in 2002 and received a master’s degree in special education from Boston College in 2006. She now works as a special education teacher for Los Angeles Unified School District.

The groom-to-be is the son of Thomas Gonzales of Monterey Park and Eileen McCranie of Thousand Oaks. He is the grandson of Elaine and Michael Martini of Pacific Palisades. He attended Roosevelt Elementary School, Lincoln Middle School, Los Cerritos Intermediate School, and graduated from Loyola High School in 1994. He graduated from Occidental College in 2004, receiving a bachelor’s degree in history. He is employed as account and technology administrator for PRISMA Systems Medical Billing in Thousand Oaks.

The couple are planning a July wedding in Santa Monica.
