All six Spartan teams made it to the playoff rounds this winter season. Congratulations and good luck to all our La Cañada area high schools!

Boys’ basketball will play against Almont League at-large team Alhambra at the Spartan Stadium tomorrow, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. A victory matches the Spartans (9-1) against the winner of Workman versus Crossroads on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Girls’ basketball

faces the Miramonte League’s No. 2 team Wilson on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at La Cañada. The Lady Spartans, 8-2 for league, will play again on Wednesday, Feb. 21 if they win in round one.

Girls’ water polo

(6-2) travels to Riverside today to face Arlington, the Ivy League No. 2 team. Victory will send the Lady Spartans into a quarterfinal match on Tuesday, Feb. 20 against the winner of today’s Downey versus Chino Hills match.

Boys’ wrestling

, No. 2 in the Rio Hondo League, goes into the Northern Division individuals meet on Friday and Saturday at Pacifica High School in Oxnard.

Boys’ soccer

(7-3) plays at home against Desert Sky League No. 2 Silverado on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. If the boys win the home match, they will play either Crossroads or Carpinteria on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Girls’ soccer

is matched against Del Rio League No. 2 team Santa Fe tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. in Santa Fe Springs. A win will take the Lady Spartans (6-1) to a second round match on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
