Boys’ soccer won 2-1 against Silverado last Saturday and played Carpinteria yesterday in round two of playoffs, winning 2-1.

Boys’ basketball beat Alhambra last Friday 47-31 and played Crossroads on Tuesday, winning 75-68. Their quarterfinal game is tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. against Santa Clara at La Cañada.

Girls’ basketball won 77-46 against Wilson last Saturday to advance to round two. They played AB Miller yesterday, but game scores were not available at press time.

Boys’ wrestling sent 10 athletes to the Northern Division Tournament last weekend. Spencer Tompkins placed No. 1 in the 160 pound weight division.

Girls’ soccer beat Santa Fe last Friday 1-0 to advance to round two. The Spartans played St. Joseph on Tuesday, losing 1-2 to end their playoff run.

Girls’ water polo was defeated by Arlington 9-5 last Thursday, ending their 2006-2007 season.

ST. FRANCIS

Boys’ soccer beat Montebello at home 7-0 last Saturday. The Knights played Servite yesterday in round two, but scores were unavailable at press time.

FLINTRIDGE PREP

After a first-round bye, girls’ basketball won 58-43 against Duarte last Saturday. They faced Calvary Chapel yesterday in the D-IVA quarterfinals, but scores were unavailable at press time.

RENAISSANCE

Boys’ basketball beat Paloma Valley 79-66 last Saturday. They played Santa Fe on Tuesday, winning 67-54 to advance the Wildcats to the semifinal round tomorrow against Perris at Paloma Valley High School.
