Fashion Show Benefits Hospital

Share

Over the weekend, the spirits of almost 2,000 guests soared at the American Girl Fashion Show. Flintridge Guild of Children’s Hospital hosted the seven shows at Brookside Country Club, March 23-25. Against a perky backdrop of red, white, and blue decorations and catchy tunes, 49 models and their dolls, dressed in fashions ranging from early American clothing to contemporary outfits, entertained the audience composed of girls, their families, friends and, of course, their dolls. The excitement mounted at each raffle drawing. Many won dolls, their wardrobes and wonderful props like a fantastic doll theater. Others purchased a variety of American Girl clothing and accessories from the Guild’s store. All proceeds from the event benefited Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. What a great way to spend a day with that special girl in your life!
