This was a highly entertaining game on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in La Cañada. The game went a full six innings and was not decided until the final Yankees batter in the bottom half of the sixth inning. Goldstein 0, Read 0
The game featured home run derby champ versus golden arm champ. The girls had great fun in our opening game. Both teams scored lots of runs and made some outs. Both teams did really well at bat and I don’t think we used the tee more than five times during the whole game. The grizzly bear team had an awesome pitcher who got three outs in one inning. Our girls also got few outs, At the end of the game we celebrated with pizzas and Juice It Up! smoothies thanks to Sidney Hwang, our golden arm champ.
Lew 0, Olmsted 0
The Gilmour Insurance Blue Angels opened the season with great intensity. The offense was sparked by sluggers Lauren Gilmour and Sydney Lew who both hit towering balls over shortstop into left field.
