La Cañada Student Named to Denison University’s Dean’s List

La Cañada’s Andrew Kirwan was among 656 undergraduates named to Denison University’s fall dean’s list by University Provost Keith Boone.

Students who achieve dean’s list status have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or better (out of 4.0) for the semester.

Kirwan is thr son of Beverly Thelander of La Cañada.

Kirwan, a 2005 graduate of La Cañada High School, is a sophomore philosophy major at Denison.

Only one out of every four students achieved dean’s list distinction this past fall semester, Anderson noted in congratulating each scholar.

“Denison’s academic vitality is dependent upon this type of accomplishment. We are proud of dean’s list students and grateful for them,” said Anderson.
