Church of the Lighted Window:Church to Recognize Graduates, Church Teachers

On June 10, members and friends of Church of the Lighted Window in La Cañada will meet at 10 a.m. for the worship service. High school and college graduates will be recognized, and the church’s teachers will be honored.

Pastor Skip Lindeman will lead the service and deliver the morning message. Wayne Mattson will be in the narthex to greet the arriving worshippers.

Visitors and community newcomers are welcome.

The Chancel Choir and Joseph Klice, Church of the Lighted Window organist, will provide special music. The choir will perform Hall Johnson’s “Ain’t Got Time to Die.” Jane Bock will be the soloist.

Church school and nursery care also begin at 10 a.m.

Coffee and tea will be served following worship in Fellowship Hall. Members of the Diaconate Board will host the coffee hour.

Church of the Lighted Window is a Congregational church affiliated with the United Church of Christ. It is located at 1200 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada.
