An avalanche is building in La Cañada and it’s headed for the local Calvary Chapel of the Foothills.
“This year, our church is a stampede of excitement as we visit Avalanche Ranch,” said Pastor Gary Ruff. “Our Avalanche Ranch program will provide fun, memorable Bible-learning activities for kids from four to twelve years of age. Each day, kids will sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, nibble Chuck Wagon Chow, take on a daily challenge to let God’s love grow into their homes, experience electrifying Bible adventures, collect Bible memory buddies to remind them of God’s word and create Bible point crafts they can take home and play with all summer long.”
The program is the focal point of Calvary Chapel’s summer vacation Bible school and is being offered at no charge to Foothill children.
“Avalanche Ranch is an exciting way for kids to learn more about God’s love,” continued Pastor Gary Ruff. “Each day concludes at Showtime Roundup, a celebration that gets all participants involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join us daily for this special time at 11:45 a.m. We hope Avalanche Ranch will get everyone wild about God in our community.”
Avalanche Ranch begins July 16 and continues through July 20.
Participants will meet each day from 9 a.m. until noon at Calvary Chapel of the Foothills, at 663½ Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada.
This is a free event for the community, so sign up now as spaces are limited.
