Dilbeck Realtors GMAC Agents Learn About Short Sales

Agents from Dilbeck Realtors gathered last week to learn the “ins-n-outs” of short sales, it was recently announced by the real estate firm.

The event was hosted by Ambassador Capital Mortgage and featured guest panelist Bonnie Strassmann, manager of Dilbeck’s Sherman Oaks office with over 30 years in real estate. Strassmann is an expert in the short sales phenomenon hitting the country.

Joining Strassman was Mona Rose, Dilbeck’s vice president and general counsel and Joe Carroll, first vice president of Metrocities Mortgage, LLC.

Over 250 agents were in attendance and they listened to how short sales work and what the process is including negotiating, taking control, working with lenders and finalizing purchase agreements.

Though most agents knew a great deal of the information offered, all agreed that a refresher course is always good, plus there have been some changes over the past couple of years.

“So, whether you are an experienced pro or a rookie just starting out, everyone in attendance agreed that they walked away a little smarter,” said Luis Malaga, president of Ambassador Capital Mortgage.
