La Cañada Presbyterian Church: Northwest Boychoir to Perform

As part of its 2007 West Coast tour, Seattle’s Northwest Boychoir will perform live in concert at 7:30 p.m. July 24 at La Cañada Presbyterian Church.
The concert will feature works by Pergolesi, Thompson, Poulenc, Duruflé, Bartok and others.
Northwest Boychoir’s musical sophistication and rich tonal quality have established Boychoir as one of the nation’s premier boys choirs. Boychoir is one half of Northwest Choirs, which also includes high school-age group Vocalpoint! Seattle.
Boychoir’s 150 members, ages 6 to 13, come from all corners of the greater Seattle area, representing 115 diverse public and private schools, according to its website. Northwest Boychoir members are skilled musicians with a passion for the musical arts and a unique ability to perform great choral literature and contemporary works at the highest professional levels.
