Prizes Offered at GCC registration Day Event

A registration event will be held at Glendale Community College on Thursday, July 26 from noon to 8 p.m. that will enable new students to get their applications processed, have an orientation session, meet with a counselor, get their math and English assessment, apply for financial aid and register for fall semester classes all in one day.

The fall semester begins Sept. 4. The first 200 students will receive free flash drives. Raffles will be held all day for book vouchers, Apple iPhones and fall semester parking passes. Refreshments will be available and the Street Team from Movin 93.9 FM will be taking part in the event. Parking will be free in Lot C across Verdugo Road from the college near the pedestrian bridge. Students begin the process by going to the information booth in the lobby of the Administration Building at 1500 N. Verdugo Rd. For more information call 818-240-1000, ext. 3031.
