LCF Anime Club for teens 13 and up

Attention, anime and manga otaku.

For kids ages 13 and up, join the LCF Anime Club at the La Cañada Flintridge Library. Watch new anime episodes, enjoy refreshments and have fun with friends. Anime DVDs will be shown at 4 p.m. Tuesdays — Nov. 20 and Dec. 4.

The La Cañada Flintridge Library, part of the County of Los Angeles Public Library, is at 4545 Oakwood Ave. in La Cañada Flintridge.

Storytime programs are at LCF library

Join La Cañada Flintridge Library for fun and free storytime programs.

The winter session runs through Dec. 12.

Toddler storytime for up to 3 years of age and their caregivers is at 10:15 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Adults an children interact through stories, songs and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit toddlers’ short attention spans — stories last 20 to 30 minutes.

Preschool storytime — for children ages 3 to 6 years and their caregivers — is held at 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It inculdes books, flannelboard stories, puppets, fingerplays, songs and art activities. It lasts 25 to 35 minutes.
