Students send Christmas greetings to soliders in Iraq

Recently, students from La Cañada Elementary School's sixth grade class wrote holiday messages to be sent to service men and woman in Iraq.

The cards were designed, printed and donated by local merchant Prinefex.

A few samples:


Dear Army dudes,

Thank you for fighting for our country. You're good at your job. Despite hard conditions, keep going.

Have a happy holiday season.

Thank your for fighting for U.S.

Fight on, dudes!


Dear armed forces,

This is Justin in the sixth grade.

I hope you aren't having too much trouble with the mess in Iraq. I admire you're [sic] bravery and protection.

We are very proud of you and wish you a verry [sic] safe holiday. Be safe, happy holidays and good luck. Can't wait until you guys come home.
