Engagement:

A dinner was held recently at the Pasadena home of Phil and Maureen Hosp to celebrate the engagement of their son, Franz Phillip Hosp V and Vivian Carrasco Martinez, daughter of Cervando and Gloria Carrasco of Tijuana, Mexico.

The future bride is in her second year at Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. She graduated cum laude from Boston College. She is an accomplished painter, having had her paintings displayed in art festivals in the Southern California area.

The future groom is also a second year law student at Loyola. After graduating from Boston University, he served four years in the US Army. He complete two tours in Iraq, achieving the rank of captain.

The couple plan an autumn wedding.
