Wedding Announcement: Eyster ~ Spinelli

Katie Melane Eyster and Brian Michael Spinelli were united in marriage last July 21 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Pedro.

Following the wedding ceremony a dinner and dance reception was held at Palos Verdes Country Club in Palos Verdes Estates.

Katie is the daughter of Richard and Cindy Eyster of La Cañada Flintridge. She is a 1999 graduate of La Cañada High School and a 2003 cum laude graduate of Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television, where she earned her bachelor of arts degree in film production. Katie was a member of Delta Gamma sorority while at LMU.

Brian is the son of William and Margaret Spinelli of Rancho Palos Verdes. He is a 1998 graduate of Bishop Montgomery High School and a 2002 graduate of Loyola Marymount University where he received his bachelor of arts degree in business administration and his MBA degree in finance in 2005.

The bride wore a Piccione bridal gown of silk satin with crystal beading and sequins with a chapel train embroidered with crystal accents. She carried a bouquet of phalaenopsis orchids and white roses. She was attended by Christina Koyer as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Devon Wilson, Jennifer Corcoran and Julia Karr.

Brian’s best man was his brother Mark Spinelli. Groomsmen included Scott McConnell, James Efstathiou, Xuan Tran and Christopher Young.

Ringbearer was Cameron Graziano, cousin of the groom. Flower girls were Reagan Reynolds, cousin of the bride, and Kate Spinelli, niece of the groom.

Ushers were Patrick Masters, Trevor Eyster and Michael Reynolds. Guest book attendants were Katherine Peters, Sarah Peters and Lauren Masters.

Katie is a feature film visual effects coordinator. Brian is a relationship manager at a wealth management firm.

Following the wedding, the couple honeymooned in Cortona and Florence in the Tuscan region of Italy, as well as Positano on the Amalfi Coast. Katie and Brian are now making their home in Playa del Rey.
