WOW! Was it hot enough for you this weekend? Wouldn’t you know with this record-breaking heat wave my air conditioner decided it was taking a vacation. On Sunday evening at 12:30 a.m. when I went to bed, my house was 92 degrees and when I woke up on Monday morning at 7 a.m. it was 85 degrees.
Goodness, gracious, I know it is only May but I was praying for an early June gloom.
Thank goodness, after calling about 10 air conditioning businesses, I finally found somebody who could come out to fix the shuddering hunk of machinery. I am now cooling down. Of course it is Murphy’s Law — according to the TV weather people, we might even slip into some onshore gloom soon.
The next thing I’ll be complaining about will be the gloomy weather.
