Starlight Crest Drive and Godbey Drive in La Cañada, Hector Orlando Castillo, 25, of Glendale was arrested after deputies found a forged U.S. Department of Justice identification and citizenship documents in his possession at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Big Tujunga Canyon and Shelly Lane in Angeles National Forest, Jose Jimenez, 28, and Ruben Flores, 30, both from Los Angeles, were arrested after deputies found a handgun and ammunition after responding to a “shots fired” call at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Pine Cone Road in La Crescenta, someone entered a garage and stole a purse and personal items from an unlocked vehicle; 5400 block overnight, Aug. 15-16.

Colby Ranch Road in Angeles National Forest, a 2003 Land Rover was vandalized with spray painted graffiti across the entire body of the vehicle between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Aug. 10.

Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, two shirts were stolen from the Cowgirl Princess; 1300 block at 12:20 p.m. on Aug. 15.

Linda Vista Avenue and Berkshire Avenue in La Cañada, the fuel lines were cut in two construction company vehicles overnight, Aug. 14-15.

Castle Road in La Cañada, personal items were stolen from a locked vehicle; 5200 block between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 13.

Pennsylvania Avenue in La Crescenta, the roof rack was stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway; 4900 block overnight, Aug. 12-13.

Montrose Avenue in Montrose, the license plate was stolen from a vehicle; 2300 block between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Aug. 11.

Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a man described as Hispanic, 5’9”, 185 pounds, between 18 and 19 years old entered Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH) and walked out with two DeWalt Hammer drills without attempting to pay. Witnesses reported the suspect entered a gold Jeep Cherokee with paper plates that appeared to be driven by a woman; 3100 block at 10:52 a.m. on Aug. 14.

Willow Haven Drive in La Crescenta, the rear glass window of a vehicle was broken; 2600 block overnight, Aug. 13-14.

Lasheart Drive in La Cañada, a mountain bike was stolen from a backyard; 4500 block overnight, Aug. 11-12.

Montrose Avenue in Montrose, a briefcase and personal items were stolen and the front passenger window was shattered; 2200 block between 9:20 a.m. and 9:25 a.m. on Aug. 12.

Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a man entered Conrad’s Restaurant and ordered hot cakes. The bill came to $5.55 which he paid with a $50 bill. The employee gave him change and he left the restaurant without eating his meal. An employee from a nearby establishment then entered Conrad’s and said that the same man came to her store and asked for change for a $50 bill.

She did not give him the change and thought that he may have been trying to pass a counterfeit bill.

The Conrad’s employee examined the bill she had received, realized it may be counterfeit and called the Sheriff’s Station. The man was described as black, 5’10”, 160 pounds and clean cut; 600 block at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 11.

Paraiso Way in La Crescenta; a digital camera and softball sport equipment were stolen from an unlocked vehicle; 3000 block between midnight and 6 a.m. on Aug. 10.
