Engagement: Burkholder~Abbott

Joseph and Nancy Abbott of La Cañada Flintridge announce the engagement of their son Craig to Philina Burkholder.

Craig is a 1986 graduate of La Cañada High School and received his bachelor’s degree in computer science in 1991 from UC Irvine. He is a development manager with Oracle in Pleasanton, Calif.

Philina is the daughter of Donald Burkholder of Medford, Ore. She was born in Colorado Springs, Colo., and graduated from Westmont High in Campbell, Calif. She received her bachelor’s degree in studio art and graphic design from San Jose State University. She is a senior event manager for EMC Corporation in Pleasanton.

The couple plan a small wedding with friends and family in November at La Cañada Presbyterian Church and will live in Danville, Calif.
