Engagement: Davis ~ Reid

Mrs. and Mrs. Michael Davis of La Cañada Flintridge are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Marie Davis, to Douglas Paul Reid.

Doug and Lindsay met while working on the Tonight Show as part of the page program at NBC, and have been engaged since Christmas 2007.

Lindsay is a 2000 graduate of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in La Cañada. She received her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 2004 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Lindsay is currently finishing her graduate degree in interior design at UCLA and is employed by Suzanne Rheinstein and Associates, working in the field of interior design.

Doug, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reid of Billings, Mont., attended Billings Central Catholic High School, from which he graduated in 1996. Doug left the Big Sky state to attend Dartmouth College, graduating in 2000 with a degree in English literature. He briefly worked in the financial services industry in Boston before coming to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment field, producing and writing.

The future Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Reid will be married on Nov. 15 at Holy Family Catholic Church in South Pasadena, with a reception following at Annandale Golf Club. They will reside locally.
