Wedding:

Soraya Celine Manesh and Richard Carl Sutherlin were married on Oct. 25, 2008 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Redondo Beach, with the Rev. Chuck Osborn of La Cañada Presbyterian Church officiating.

A reception followed at the Portofino Hotel and Yacht Club in Redondo Beach.

Soraya is a 2002 graduate of La Cañada High School. She is graduating with her MPA this month from California State University at Long Beach. She is the daughter of Kay Manesh and Bijan Manesh.

Richard is the son of Linda Sutherlin and Richard Sutherlin. He is a graduate of UCLA’s Daniel Freeman Paramedic School. He is currently a firefighter/paramedic for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Casey Hill served as the bride’s maid of honor and Jeremy Harkins was the best man.

The bridesmaids were Michelle Stamper, Katie Sproule, Tasha Turko and Meghan Ulfeldt. The groomsmen were Phil Gillenwater, Clive Mangum and Max Manesh, brother of the bride. The flower girls were Gracie and Sophia Sandman.

The couple celebrated their honeymoon in Tahiti and will reside in Hermosa Beach.
