Bear Cubs from Pack 519, Den 8 in La Cañada Flintridge visited the Valley Sun office Jan. 23 to learn about newspapers.
There were nine Cub Scouts, four siblings and five moms in the group that toured the paper’s office. The Bear Cubs were working on a scouting achievement.
Most of the den attend Paradise Canyon Elementary School, but one attends The Learning Castle and another attends La Cañada Elementary School.
“It is really awesome to visit the Valley Sun,” said Evan Grayson.
“I wish I could come here every day,” said David Sarkisian.
“It’s an honor to be at the Valley Sun,” said Preston Lacey.
“I like it because it has lots of computers,” said Connor McGoldrick, a computer enthusiast.
Before visiting the paper, the pack visited Cakery Bakery for snacks. They all had plans for a great weekend afterward.
