“Challenge races” will also be available for children, and final sign-ups and car inspections for that will be at St. Francis in the parking garage at 5 p.m. Entry fee is $45.

“They’ll need to bring there cars and their birth certificates,” said organizer Mary Gant. “Any applicants who wish to participate must be 8-17, 8 years old by August.”

The races will start at 10 a.m. and run until 5 p.m.
