La Crescenta resident Jeanne Marlene Stevens died Nov. 24. She was 75.
Born Jan. 3, 1934 in Port Huron, Mich., Stevens worked as an executive secretary at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 30 years before retiring in 2001.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Stevens; daughter, Michele Smith; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A public memorial service has been scheduled for 2 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Center for Spiritual Living, 4845 Dunsmore Ave. in La Crescenta.
Paula Lucille Stoppa-Johnson
Paula Lucille Stoppa-Johnson, beautiful wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on Dec. 2, 2009.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Siena-Stoppa. She is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd, of La Cañada, her father Lewis Stoppa, brother, Scott Stoppa, niece, Tara Stoppa, all of Connecticut, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Paula worked as a school psychologist for Los Angeles Unified School district for 32 years, retiring in 2007.
In life, as in her passing, she showed elegance, grace and beauty. Her exquisite manner and impeccable sense of style was evident in all she touched. Her unmistakable laugh and smile, which lit up her eyes, gave warmth and comfort to those fortunate to have known her.
A memorial Mass was held on Dec. 9 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montrose. A Mass of Christian Burial will later be held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Middletown, Conn.

Belinda M. Wilkinson
Belinda M. Wilkinson died Nov. 30, 2009 in California after a long illness.
She was born on Aug. 7, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and a master’s in mathematics and computer science from the University of Texas.
She was a valued member of the engineering community at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 24 years. She was a member of the Towne Singers and the Chancel Choir of La Cañada Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held at La Cañada Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to La Cañada Presbyterian Church-Chancel Choir, 626 Foothill Blvd., La Cañada, CA 91011.
