Flags go up for Presidents Day
More than 100 American flags started going up around the city on Thursday in observance of Presidents Day.
A crew from West Coast Arborists, who contract with the city, placed the flags on light poles along Foothill and Verdugo boulevards in La Cañada Flintridge.
The special-occasion display of patriotism should remain visible until Tuesday, when the flags are expected to come down following Monday’s observance of the holiday, said a worker with West Coast Arborists.
