Kenneth Kirkpatrick

Kenneth Edwin Kirkpatrick, 95, who served as a Los Angeles County probation officer for nearly 50 years, died Feb. 6.

Kirkpatrick was also a volunteer at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge and at battered-women’s shelters.

He is survived by his wife, Lois, and children Sharon and Jim. A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at 5323 Ocean View Blvd., La Cañada.
