Obituary: Lou Brown

Lou Brown, co-owner of Turnabout Antiques and a 35-year La Cañada resident, died on March 8. She was 80.

Lou is survived by her daughters, Gerry Vogt, Sue Brown Vennard and Millie Medby; grandchildren, Eric Vogt, Kristin DeMartini (Vogt), Aimee Brown-Vennard, Mary Brown-Vennard, Monique Medby Toomey and Mike Medby; and great-grandchildren, Evan DeMartini, Claire Toomey, Camille Toomey, Madeleine Medby and Kaia Medby.

There will be a memorial service to honor Brown’s life on March 15 at 3 p.m. at the La Cañada Presbyterian Church, located at 626 Foothill Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to her grandson’s church, Servant Church, or to the Special Children’s League. Servant Church is located at 6807 Pioneer Place in Austin, Texas, 78757. The Special Children’s League is located at 535 Knight Way in La Cañada.
