Women in Business nominees sought

Nominations of outstanding businesswomen and community activists are being sought for the 12th Annual Women in Business Legislative Update and Awards Luncheon planned for July 15 at the Castaways in Burbank.

The awards are presented by state Sen. Carol Liu (D-La Cañada Flintridge) and state Assembly members Mike Gatto (D-Los Angeles) and Anthony Portantino (D-La Cañada Flintridge) to women who have advanced business, created new jobs and served the community. Nominees must live or work in the districts served by the three legislators. Nominations are due April 22.
