Obituary: Evelyn Hill

Evelyn Weikel Hill, a former La Cañadan who was an active member of La Cañada Presbyterian Church and a volunteer at Verdugo Hills Hospital, died May 28 at a residential care facility in Somis. She was 95.

Survivors include her daughter, Terri Leah Hill, and a brother, Hester Weikel of Cuero, Texas.

Services are planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at La Cañada Presbyterian Church, 626 Foothill Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church’s Deacon’s Fund are suggested.
