Memorial venue is changed for Sport Chalet founder

The memorial venue for Norbert Olberz, the founder of La Cañada Flintridge-based Sport Chalet, has been changed to accommodate what is expected to be a large crowd, company officials announced Wednesday.

The service was moved from Van de Kamp Hall at Descanso Gardens to La Cañada Flintridge Country Club, 5500 Godbey Drive, La Cañada. The memorial will begin at noon Friday, the previously scheduled time.
