City receives 9/11 memorial flag

Mayor David Spence presented a special 9/11 memorial American flag to La Cañada Flintridge at the City Council meeting on Monday. The flag, which had been given to the city by Congressman Adam Schiff in a presentation at the 9/11 anniversary memorial service two weeks ago, flew over the U.S. Capitol on September 11th in 2006.

Spence presented the folded and boxed flag to the community and said that it would be hung in the entrance hallway of City Hall as a remembrance.
