La Cañada Elementary School’s 24th annual Halloween Haunt fundraiser will take place this Saturday. This year’s Halloween-themed carnival and silent auction will take place on the school playground from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Attendees will find multiple game booths, a rock-climbing wall and a giant slide. Food and special treats will be sold, and there will be a silent auction in which adults can bid on some great items, including a lunch date with David Henrie (famous for his role as Justin from “Wizards of Waverly Place”), VIP tickets to Jay Leno, a Mardi Gras Party for 30, USC, Dodgers and Kings tickets, and an ocean-view stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu.

The event also includes the costume and pumpkin-carving contests. The contests begin at noon and continue throughout the day. Children from preschool to 6th grade are eligible to enter the costume contest.

The Halloween Haunt is the single largest fundraiser for La Cañada Elementary School and is open to the public. Wristbands, which entitle children to unlimited game play and lunch, may be purchased at the event for $45, or individual tickets may be purchased for $1 each.
