La Cañada High School celebrated homecoming last weekend, starting with a parade on Friday afternoon that featured floats created by each class.

Cruising down the boulevard with a variety of colorful floats, the Class of 2012 was followed by the Spartan football team and cheerleading squads, each seated on trucks from local Fire Station 82.

The parade was only the start, as the Spartans would go on to dominate Blair High School in the homecoming game 28-0. At halftime, Lauren Cox was named homecoming queen, and Kelsey George, Annie Monroe, Meg Sanborn and Grace Frazier were named members of the homecoming court.
