LCF float group offers Rose Parade, Rose Bowl tickets

In order to raise funds in support of the La Cañada Flintridge float entry, “If pigs could fly” in the 2012 Rose Parade, the LCF Tournament of Roses Assn. is selling tickets to both the parade and the Rose Bowl game that follows.

Both events take place on Monday, Jan. 2 this year, due to the Pasadena Tournament of Roses’ long-standing “never on Sunday” tradition.

The parade tickets are priced at $110 each and the seats are located in prime viewing area on Colorado Boulevard across the street from the Norton Simon Museum.

Dave Moffett of the La Cañada float group is overseeing the ticket sales. Moffett says that the seats for the Rose Bowl game that they are allotted are typically located between the 20-yard line and the end zone. They are priced at $210 each.

To purchase tickets to either event, call Moffett at (818) 952-8456, or email him at yomoff@gmail.com. Or, go online to www.lcftra.org, where there is a mail-in order form. Credit cards are accepted.

“If pigs could fly” is the city’s 34th consecutive entry in the Rose Parade. All have been designed and built through the all-volunteer LCF Tournament of Roses Assn.
