Area 1: 5300 block of Jessen Drive: A Louis Vuitton wallet and two garage door openers were stolen from a locked Acura between 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, and 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2. The car was parked in its owner’s driveway and showed no signs of forced entry.

2500 block of Whittier Drive: A computer bag, with no computer inside, was stolen from a locked Toyota 4Runner between 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, and 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29. The rear driver’s-side window of the vehicle was smashed.

2400 block of Whittier Drive: A backpack containing miscellaneous writing instruments was stolen from a Mini Cooper after its rear passenger window was smashed between 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, and 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29.

3000 block of Foothill Boulevard: A man stole a key ring, with car keys, from an employee of Walgreens while the ring was sitting on the cosmetics counter at the store at 4:35 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29. The man was captured on security camera footage taking the keys and shoplifting a soda.

Area 2

1600 block of Foothill Boulevard: Six solar ground lights valued at $1,000, a wooden bench valued at $500, a concrete wall valued at $300 and a ceramic bird feeder and plant pots, valued at $200 each, were vandalized in the backyard of a home between 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, and 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1. Beer bottles and tampons were also found strewn across the yard.

Area 3

300 block of Oriole Road: A home was burglarized and jewelry was stolen between 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, and 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1. The jewelry was stolen from a locked drawer inside a walk-in closet, but there were no signs of forced entry to the home. The home security alarm had been tripped in the living room, but the home’s phone line had been cut.

4300 block of Bel Aire Drive: The rear driver’s-side window of a 2011 Honda CRV was scratched up in an act of vandalism between 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, and 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31. There was no other damage to the vehicle.

4300 block of Bel Aire Drive: A man was arrested for possession of marijuana and cocaine after being pulled over for speeding at around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28. A deputy searched the man after smelling marijuana in the vehicle. He found marijuana in the man’s pocket and a bag of cocaine in a backpack in the trunk.
