Many events on St. Francis High School calendar

St. Francis High School will be hosting its Freshman Entrance Examination on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 8:30 a.m. Prospective students will be able to take the Scholastic Testing Service’s High School Placement Test on campus, at 200 Foothill Blvd. The placement test is one factor used to evaluate applications, which are due by Jan. 21.

For aspiring athletes, the St. Francis High School Strength and Conditioning Program is offering a Youth Speed and Strength Session on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the high school campus. The session costs $40 and is open to any athlete in 6th to 8th grade who is interesting in learning the proper mechanics of Olympic lifting, as well as developing core strength and more. Finally, the St. Francis Student Council is inviting all 7th-grade boys to the third annual Leadership Seminar, an opportunity to develop as a leader and become better acquainted with the school and the many programs it offers.
