4463 Oak Grove Drive: Theft, after 9 a.m. Apple iPhone, $240 in currency, a cell phone case and a black leather wallet containing credit cards later used to make fraudulent purchases were taken from car in La Cañada High School parking lot.

May 5

1100 block of Foothill Boulevard: Mail theft, 3:30 a.m. A patrol deputy noticed a vehicle stopping frequently as two men ran alongside, opening mailboxes on Foothill and then Chevy Chase Drive. A search of the car produced seven pieces of mail addressed to various homes and miscellaneous identification and credit cards. Maria Alcazar, 31, of San Gabriel; Douglas Rodriguez, 25, of Pacoima; and Kevin Konkler, 26, of Burbank, were arrested.

May 4

635 Foothill Boulevard: Theft, 1 p.m. A woman approached by another woman at Vons discovered three credit cards and $100 missing from her purse after the encounter. A suspect was later arrested after allegedly trying to use the cards in La Crescenta.

1000 block of Stratford Drive: Vandalism, before 3:15 p.m. Glass panel on the rear residence door smashed.

4400 block of Hobbs Road: Attempted burglary, before 6 p.m. Pry marks left on a home’s door frames.

5000 block of Merita Place: Residential burglary, before 5:30 p.m. Pry marks on rear window, home ransacked and $4,000 in currency missing.

1400 block of Flanders Drive: Residential burglary, before 5 p.m. Window smashed, house ransacked, safes pried open, $950 in currency, a laptop computer and 67 gold coins taken.

1300 block of Salisbury Court: Residential burglary, before 5:20 p.m. Rear glass door smashed, jewelry worth $1,000 taken.

4600 block of Daleridge Lane: Auto burglary, before 8 a.m. PlayStation 2 game consul and iPhone charger taken from two unlocked vehicles.

200 block of Kirst Street: Auto burglary, before 8 a.m. Sunglasses and an iPod charger taken.

4400 block of Cornishon Avenue: Auto burglary, 8:30 a.m. A woman’s purse, wallet, iPad and iPhone taken.

Foothill and Ocean View boulevards: Drug arrest, midnight. Pogos Yegyan, 21, of Victorville, was pulled over, found to be allegedly in possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia.

4100 block of Ramsdell Avenue: Residential burglary, before 10 a.m. Glass pane on rear door shattered, jewelry box containing military and political pins and two sets of vintage salt and pepper shakers taken.

2963 Foothill Boulevard: Identity theft, 3 p.m. Nevae Zaed, 49, of Oakland, charged with identity theft after allegedly attempting to take out cash advance on stolen credit cards at Chase Bank.

2600 block of Mayfield Avenue: Auto burglary. A wallet containing $30 and a briefcase containing jewelry valued at $500 taken.
