New exhibit at La Cañada library

Beginning June 30, the La Cañada Flintridge Public Library will display more than 30 original oil paintings by local artists Karen Horn and Karen Sill.

Works include landscapes, seascapes, florals and gardens. Both artists, who study under artist Margot Lennartz, have exhibited at Descanso Gardens, Lanterman House and other Southern California galleries. The show runs from June 30 to July 28.

The library at 4545 Oakwood Ave., La Cañada Flintridge and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more library information call (818) 790-3330.
