Crime blotter, July 8: Man allegedly assaults wife after she throws out his marijuana, whiskey
June 26
Identity theft: 990 Town Center Drive, noon. A woman’s wallet was stolen while she was at Panera Bread. Her ATM card was used later that day to make a $923.08 purchase at the CVS pharmacy in Montrose.
Attempted robbery: 2160 Foothill Boulevard, 9:30 a.m. A man emerged from the bushes, grabbed a woman and demanded she give him the dog she was walking. The woman struck the suspect, and he fled.
June 29
Spousal assault: 200 Foothill Boulevard, 5 p.m. A man grabbed his wife’s wrist and shoved her to the ground after becoming angry that she had thrown out marijuana and whiskey belonging to him. The couple was at a St. Francis High School football game at the time.
June 30
Marijuana possession: 5500 block of Godbey Drive, 12:11 a.m. A container of hashish was found in the truck of a man in the La Cañada Country Club parking lot.
July 2
Burglary: 400 block of Knight Way, 10:10 a.m. or later. Back door pried open, $3,900 of jewelry and coins stolen.

Identity theft: 3100 block of Steven Street, 9 a.m. A man discovered his Social Security number had been used by others to obtain employment in Georgia, Arizona and Los Angeles.

Domestic violence: 2700 block of El Caminito Street, 7:20 p.m. Wife slapped and scratched her husband during an argument about money.
