Sound walls meeting to be held Monday

Members of the public interested in the construction of the first of 21 planned sound walls along the Foothill (210) Freeway are invited to intend an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 30, at La Cañada Flintridge City Hall.

Representatives from the city, Caltrans and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Agency will offer information and answer questions about the project schedule and construction.

Public Works Director Edward Hitti said the meeting is intended primarily to address questions of residents near the first two sound walls to be built, near the Berkshire Place/Foothill Boulevard offramp of the Foothill (210) Freeway and the Georgian Road/Hampton Road offramp.
