Crime blotter, August 26: Steaks, shrimp and Jack Daniel’s stolen from Ralph’s
August 15
Burglary: 521 Foothill Blvd., 1:45 p.m. Two cases of Jack Daniel’s whiskey, two bags of shrimp and two New York strip steaks were stolen from the Ralph’s on Foothill Boulevard. The suspect was seen in surveillance footage entering a white four-door compact sedan in the parking lot.
August 18
Theft: 2000 block of Lyans Drive, prior to 12:30 p.m. A “hot pink fluffy mustache,” purchased from “Carstache,” was stolen from the front of a Toyota Prius.
Vandalism: 1049 block of Foothill Boulevard, 10 a.m. or earlier. Mail box at West Coast Boot Camp was pried open.
August 19
Burglary: 1400 block of Curran Street. Home entered via a smashed window while homeowner was on vacation. Nothing was reported missing.
August 20
Burglary: 4200 block of Oakwood Avenue, before 4:30 p.m. Home entered via open window, digital camera, laptop computer and a credit card were taken.

Burglary: 2300 block of Mira Vista Avenue, before 5:25 p.m. Apartment door kicked open, $6,250 in cash taken from a desk drawer.
August 21
Receiving stolen property: Montrose Avenue at Ocean View Boulevard, 3:40 p.m. Man arrested for driving with stolen registration tags. Driver admitted to purchasing sticker for $20 in downtown Los Angeles.
