Motorcycle crash shuts down Angeles Crest Highway Sunday morning

A solo motorcycle accident shut down both lanes of Angeles Crest Highway for about 30 minutes Sunday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The accident was reported shortly after 10:30 a.m. near mile marker 37, according to Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Sgt. Cynthia Gonzales.  Both lanes were closed so emergency officials could tend to the motorcyclist, who was airlifted to Huntington Memorial Hospital.-- Joshua Cox, Times Community News
