Krikorian gets endorsements from La Cañada leaders

Republican candidate for Assembly Greg Krikorian announced that several La Cañada Flintridge leaders have endorsed his candidacy.

Local officials backing Krikorian include La Cañada Flintridge Mayor Steve Del Guercio, City Councilman Michael Davitt, City Councilman David Spence, La Cañada Unified School District Board President Scott Tracy and school board members Andrew Blumenfeld, Susan Boyd and Joel Peterson.

Krikorian is a longtime member of the Glendale Unified School District board.

He is running for the seat currently held by Assemblyman Mike Gatto (D- Silver Lake). Gatto said Wednesday his campaign will prepare a list of those endorsing him in the coming weeks.

He said his 56%-to-44% victory over Krikorian in the June primary “is the best endorsement to have.”
