Rx drug drop-off event Saturday in Crescenta Valley

Local law enforcement agencies and the Crescenta Valley Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalition are sponsoring a prescription drug take-back event from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29.

Residents are encouraged to drop off medications that have expired or that are no longer needed at the Rite Aid stores at 2647 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta, 657 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada Flintridge and 2037 Verdugo Road in Montrose. Expired or unneeded medications can be dropped off at any time at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station, 4554 Briggs Avenue, La Crescenta.

Saturday’s event is sponsored by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Glendale Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
